Thịt heo bằm đổ ra chén, thêm vào 1 muỗng cà phê muối, 1/2 muỗng cà phê tiêu, 2 muỗng cà phê nước mắm, 1 muỗng cà phê đường, 1/2 muỗng cà phê hành tím băm, ướp đều để khoảng 30 phút.
Hành tây rửa sạch, cắt nhỏ. Cà rốt rửa sạch, cạo vỏ, cắt sợi. Nấm mèo ngâm nở, cắt bỏ chân, cắt sợi. Hành lá rửa sạch, cắt nhỏ.
Miến dùng kéo cắt ngắn bớt, ngâm nở, tiếp theo đun nóng nồi nước sôi, chần miến sơ qua nồi nước sôi và đổ ra rổ xả lại dưới vòi nước lạnh để sợi miến không bị dính chùm, để ráo.
Đun nóng 1 muỗng canh dầu điều ở chảo, phi tỏi băm thơm, cho chén thịt vào xào chín, tiếp theo cho hành tây, cà rốt, nấm mèo vào xào cùng.
Xào đến khi ăn thử cà rốt chín thì cho miến vào xào cùng, đảo nhẹ tay đến khi miến trộn lẫn với các nguyên liệu, nêm nếm lại gia vị cho vừa ăn.
Tắt bếp, thêm hành lá cắt nhỏ vào, múc ra đĩa dùng nóng.
